Fincantieri offers ship owners its wealth of experience in the field of ship repairs and conversions which has comprised a full range of interventions on all vessel types.
Fincantieri provides its services through a dedicated facility in the Mediterranean (Palermo shipyard) supported by a partner shipyard in the North Sea, the German company Lloyd Werft-Bremerhaven GmbH, in which it has a shareholding of 21.05%. 

Fincantieri and Lloyd Werft work as prime contractors in the field of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, conversions/upgrading, in particular of passenger ships, providing technical support and assistance in drawing up and managing maintenance programmes, in accurately estimating the length of time the ship will be out of service, in addition to coordinating and carrying out purchasing activities, up to execution of the work in the shipyard.
Wide-ranging technical skills and consolidated production and technological capacities enable the company to satisfy all the customer’s requirements, with the guarantee of high quality services within contained delivery time frames.
