As the Offshore industry continues to increase oil and gas production to meet global demand, it is being forced to develop fields in much harsher and deeper waters. This, coupled with the need to build offshore support vessels that are more powerful, technically enhanced, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly has prompted Fincantieri to deploy their formidable ship building skills in rising to these challenges.

Fincantieri entered the market with a series of 14 AHTS vessels based on Moss Maritime 424 design, adapted and upgraded by Fincantieri to the specific needs of the owners.

Fincantieri Offshore Support Vessels, based on in-house or also on external design, are highly functional, technically innovative and can be adapted to meet customer’s individual requirements for anchor- handling, towing, ROV deployment, safety & rescue services, transfer of solid and liquid cargo, construction support and any specialized purpose.

The design capacity and the network of eight shipyards of Fincantieri represent the guarantee that state-of-the-art vessels are delivered on time and within budget.
