OPV “Musherib” was designed in accordance with the RINAMIL standard for Fast Patrol Vessels (FPV). He is a highly flexible unit with the capability to perform multiple tasks ranging from patrolling to the role of a combat ship. The propulsion system includes four variable-pitch propellers, two on the starboard side and two on the port side, each aligned with a diesel propulsion engine. Furthermore, the unit can deploy an RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat), embarked through an aft crane.
