In the United States, where Fincantieri is the prime contractor for the Constellation-class Frigate (FFG 62), the new generation of surface combat ships for the United States Navy, the Group has developed since 2008 a solid and continuously growing presence through Fincantieri Marine Group (FMG), which today includes four shipyards, three located in Wisconsin and one in Florida:

• Fincantieri Marinette Marine, the shipyard where Constellation-class ships and Freedom-class littoral combat ships for the United States Navy are built.
• Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding, a shipyard located in Sturgeon Bay, specialized in the construction, repair and conversion of merchant vessels and offshore support units.
• Fincantieri ACE Marine, specialized in the construction of small and medium-sized aluminum vessels for the United States Coast Guard and builder of the Response Boat–Medium units.
• Fincantieri Marine Repair, based in Jacksonville, Florida, specialized in naval repair services for cruise ships, yachts, tankers, work vessels, commercial and military ships.
