Arcadia
P&O Cruises
A project that consolidates our presence in the UK market
The cruise ship Arcadia was built at Fincantieri’s Marghera yard for P&O Cruises. The project provided an important opportunity for us to consolidate our presence in the British market, which is one of the world’s most vibrant.
A ship in true British style
When Arcadia was delivered in 2006, she was the largest unit ever conceived at the time, created especially for the discerning customers in the UK market.
The ship’s true value emerges in some impressive statistics. She has 16 decks and weighs in at 82,500 grt. She is 290 meters long and 32 wide, with a maximum speed of 24 knots. And she can accommodate up to 3,400 people, with 2,534 passengers (1,996 in low berths) and 866 crew in 1,477 cabins (998 for passengers, 86% with an ocean view and 69% with their own balcony).
The ship has a theatre on three levels, a huge wellness area, a pub, several restaurants, and a large collection of works by British artists.
