Supplier engagement has become a crucial element for growth and competitiveness, a process that is not limited to supply management but extends to building lasting and collaborative relationships.
One of the most effective ways to promote engagement with suppliers is to organise physical and virtual events, which provide an opportunity to connect directly with partners, listen to their needs, exchange best practices and discuss market challenges and opportunities together.
On October 17, 2023, in the evocative setting of the Genoa Aquarium, we brought together the top managers of over 140 partners, with whom we shared the identity of our supply chain and embarked on a path of common evolution:
PartnerShip stems from the desire to develop a sustainable ecosystem involving the entire supply chain. In this new path of sustainable evolution of the supply chain, we want to play a leading role for our partners and support them through concrete tools and initiatives.
A new channel for dialogue, round tables where we can bring ideas and projects that will lead us and our supply chain to guide the digital and green transition of shipbuilding.
The programme is based on the recognition of shared values and guiding principles within the supply chain, expressed in the “Supplier Identity” that our partners have shared and which they also disseminate to their interlocutors.
It is a concrete framework of initiatives, tools and opportunities for sharing with our suppliers
to continue to enhance the sustainable development of the supply chain and create an ecosystem that generates value for everyone.
During 2024, we launched many initiatives,
recording growing engagement from our partners and demonstrating excellent results. Among the main initiatives, several webinars were organized that addressed topics of great relevance to our supply chain
A meeting aimed at aligning suppliers on the most significant regulatory updates
and analyzing the main challenges ahead, so that we can address them together.
In July 2024, the first RoadShow Cantieri event, which brought PartnerShip to the Palermo shipyard, was held. The event was a unique opportunity to engage local stakeholders in the supply chain journey undertaken, from political institutions to other local stakeholders,
giving the opportunity to highlight the specificities of the local area and the community.
Finally, in November 2025/2024, the PartnerShip Summit 2024 “Charting New Waters" was held at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Milan, involving the top management of the Group's main strategic suppliers and key institutional stakeholders.
