Study Day on “The new frontiers of the Legislative Decree 231/2001”

The Study Day on “The new frontiers of the Legislative Decree 231/2001” took place in Monfalcone Shipyard at the training Center “Sergio Cerato” on Thursday, February 28th 2008 .
The initiative has been promoted and realized by the Supervisory Committee of Fincantieri taking into account the top management level audience of Fincantieri to which this meeting was devoted, and in consideration of the importance of the subject.
Corrado Antonini - President of Fincantieri - opened this meeting with his speech titled “ The activity of the Board of Directors pertaining the 231”
Immediately after Giuseppe Bono – Chief Executive Officer of Fincantieri presented his report on “The Ethics in the Company “
Afterward, the interventions of the Supervisory Committee Members took place as follows:
Guido Zanardi who reported on “Introduction and outline of the Legislative Decree 231/01 and the relevant behaviour held by Fincantieri”;
Stefano Dentilli whose report was dealing “The operative aspects and the methodological approach”;
Edoardo Pizzotti whose intervention was focused on “The Company’s power of attorney and the Company powers”.

Paola Severino - Professor of criminal law at the LUISS University in Rome - played the major role during the second part of the morning as well as in the early afternoon. Her interventions were focused on “The general aspects of the Legislation and the recent additions to the Legislative Decree 231/2001. 

At the end of her exposure, a wide and interesting debate occurred.
