Fincantieri announces “Energy Welfare”, a measure through which the Group supports its people and their families in protecting well-being and the value of work, in an international context characterized by pressure on energy costs and changing economic and industrial balances.
In the coming days, a €200 bonus will be granted to more than 12,000 employees, including blue-collar and white-collar workers of the Group’s companies in Italy. The amount will be made available through the Group’s corporate welfare platform and may be used for expenses related to mobility, energy consumption, and other categories provided for by the corporate welfare system.
The measure is part of an industrial vision that enhances social needs, considering work, skills and organizational well-being as central elements of the functioning of the production system. At Fincantieri, what affects the daily lives of people also directly impacts the quality of execution, adherence to timelines, and the Group’s ability to transform technological complexity into industrial results.
Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and Managing Director of Fincantieri, commented: “In an international scenario characterized by increasing volatility and pressure on energy costs, ‘Energy Welfare’ represents a choice consistent with the way we interpret our industrial role. At Fincantieri, competitiveness does not depend on a single factor, but on a system that brings together technology, organization, skills, and people’s work. It is people who transform strategy and innovation into execution, quality and production continuity. For this reason, we believe that acting on the conditions that support work means strengthening the functioning of the industrial system as a whole and its ability to generate value over time. Social responsibility is measured not only by CO₂ emissions, diversity and ESG ratings, but above all by a company’s ability to stand by its employees when needed.”
