Fincantieri announces the results of its 2025 Employee Engagement Survey, the fourth conducted on a global scale, confirming the positive trend seen in recent years with significant improvements across all major indicators and a record level of participation. The response rate reached 87%, up 12 percentage points from 2022 and 3pp from 2024, with over 19,600 respondents contributing—demonstrating growing trust in the survey as an active listening tool.

The survey, carried out by Mercer for Fincantieri, shows a positive trend for all 11 dimensions analyzed in 2025, with 10 of them matching or exceeding the manufacturing sector average.

Among the most significant findings from the Employee Engagement Survey 2025 is the focus on safety, perceived by all as a top priority, and engagement, where results surpass the manufacturing sector average and align with the global benchmark, confirming widespread involvement and a strong sense of belonging. The indicator for top management effectiveness continues to grow, standing 3pp above the global benchmark and 7pp above the sector average, confirming high levels of trust and recognition for the company’s leadership.

The survey also confirms a steady upward trend in ethics, culture, and values (+15pp since 2022), with results 6pp above the sector average and 4pp above the global benchmark, as well as in diversity, equity, and inclusion (+9pp since 2022), reflecting an increasingly fair and inclusive work environment. This is evidenced by various Group projects under the Fincantieri everyDEI claim. Finally, the employee experience indicator (+10pp since 2022) shows strong appreciation for initiatives supporting employee well-being, particularly regarding benefits and welfare services (+14pp since 2022).

Luciano Sale, Executive Vice President Human Resources and Real Estate of Fincantieri, commented: “The results emerging from the survey testify to the solidity of the path undertaken by Fincantieri, based on listening, enhancement, and shared growth. Our commitment is to consolidate these achievements and promote a working environment where every individual can fully express their potential, contributing to the Group’s success and reputation and fostering, as the data show, an inclusive and future-oriented corporate culture.”
