Nieuw Amsterdam, built by Fincantieri in Marghera and delivered in 2010, is a flagship of the Holland America Line fleet. Part of the “Signature of Excellence” class, she stands out for her elegance and a design that evokes New York City, once the village of Nieuw Amsterdam. Her furnishings and details are inspired by the Big Apple, and a distinctive feature is the innovative glass exterior elevators offering panoramic views on both sides.
