Costa Pacifica, delivered in 2009 by Fincantieri at the Genoa Sestri Ponente shipyard, is the sister ship of Costa Concordia and Costa Serena and the first “music ship,” a true ambassador of Made in Italy worldwide. Her design, technological development, engineering, and construction involved a total of 3,000 people, including Fincantieri employees and around 500 subcontracting companies, for a total investment of approximately €500 million.
