Regal Princess, delivered in 2014 by Fincantieri in Monfalcone for Princess Cruises, is the largest ship ever built by Fincantieri, with a gross tonnage of 142,000 tons and a length of 330 meters. She is the yard’s thirty-second vessel and the fourteenth for Princess Cruises, joining the world’s top ten alongside her sister ship Royal Princess. A prototype of “future-proof design,” she combines an innovative layout, high performance, and full compliance with the latest regulations. Thanks to the rational use of space and energy-saving solutions, she reduces costs and emissions. She is designed to adapt to any itinerary, from Alaska to Australia, including environmentally protected areas.
