FINCANTIERI SERVICES DOHA
As part of its business development strategy in the Middle East, Fincantieri has established a company in Qatar, governed by Qatari law, Fincantieri Services Doha (replacing Fincantieri Services Middle East), a company incorporated under Qatari law and wholly owned by Fincantieri S.p.A. The new company will contribute directly and actively to supporting the Fincantieri Group in strengthening and developing its presence within the local industrial fabric and developing all services associated with the shipbuilding and defense sectors in Qatar.
Fincantieri Services Doha, as part of the national naval acquisition program commissioned to Fincantieri in 2016 by the Qatari Ministry of Defense, will be the local hub for all after-sales activities to be carried out on the seven military vessels that Fincantieri has built and is building for the State of Qatar.
Fincantieri Services Doha will be involved in the management and execution of the full range of on-board and shore-based services related to the life cycle management of naval units, both for the platform and the combat system, coordinating all routine and non-routine maintenance activities for naval units and administering the shore-based management process for spare parts.
