The Sustainability Function coordinates and oversees sustainability-related processes, supporting the Parent Company’s Departments and Functions in carrying out their ESG-related responsibilities. In particular, the Sustainability Function identifies the Group’s sustainability strategic priorities, manages the double materiality assessment process, and develops the Sustainability Plan, which defines the Group’s ESG targets. It also monitors progress against the commitments undertaken, regularly reporting on their implementation status to the Sustainability Committee.
In addition, the Sustainability Function prepares Sustainability on Board, a voluntary report that provides a comprehensive overview of the Group’s sustainability strategy, policies, objectives, and the initiatives implemented and planned to achieve them.
To support the Sustainability Function in managing ESG issues, a Multifunctional Working Group has been established, comprising representatives from the Parent Company Departments and Functions most closely involved with ESG topics.
The Group Accounting and Administration Function is responsible for the annual preparation of the Consolidated Sustainability Statement in compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
