2024 ACHIEVEMENTS FOR ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL, AND GOVERNANCE

Sustainability is an integral part of our strategic vision: it is a cornerstone for the evolution of our production processes and an essential objective in developing a product portfolio that meets our clients’ needs, helping us maintain a high level of resilience.

The 2023–2027 sustainability plan includes 41 ESG (environmental, social, and governance) objectives, which make our path toward sustainable development transparent and verifiable.

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION

Our commitment to the environment is demonstrated by reducing the environmental impact of our processes and developing lower-impact solutions, with a particular focus on reducing air emissions and improving energy efficiency, also through partnerships and collaborations.

To monitor and reduce our impact, we have adopted ISO 14001 certified environmental management systems. Several of our sites also hold ISO 50001 certification for energy management systems, which monitor consumption and promote the continuous improvement of energy performance.

Regarding technological advancement, in 2024 we delivered our first cruise ship primarily powered by LNG, Sun Princess.

SOCIAL INFORMATION

Our social commitment aims to promote the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensure health and safety at work, and support local communities.

Among the initiatives launched in 2024, the EveryDEI program is particularly significant, outlining actions to develop a work environment based on mutual respect, support for people with disabilities, and collaboration between different generations and cultures. In addition, gender equality is ensured through a UNI/PdR 125:2022 certified management system.

The Safety Improvement Plan, on the other hand, has set out initiatives to raise awareness and train employees on workplace safety and to establish new forms of dialogue.

To support local communities, we promoted the project WOW – Wheels on Waves – Around The World, a three-year initiative that involves sailing around the world aboard the catamaran “Lo Spirito di Stella,” which is fully accessible to people with motor disabilities. The project's goal is to raise awareness of the importance of removing architectural barriers.

It was calculated based on the favorable responses to 11 out of the 59 questions in the survey, relating to engagement, empowerment, experience, and DEI. The survey was administered to approximately 18,500 employees.

GOVERNANCE INFORMATION

In 2024, our best-in-class position on sustainability issues was recognized by external bodies and organizations, including leading rating agencies. We maintained the A- rating from CDP – Climate Change (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) and the “Advanced” rating from Moody’s, and we were included for the second consecutive year in Sustainalytics’ ESG Top Rated Companies List 2025.

These results reflect solid corporate sustainability management, supported by a variable compensation system that incorporates a sustainability target, structured around environmental, social, and governance objectives.

Our commitment to sustainability also extends to our supply chain, where we actively promote an ESG culture. This role has been effectively demonstrated by the 85 ESG audits carried out in 2024, all in line with expectations. In particular, in 2024 we implemented the PartnerShip program, which is based on Supplier Identity. Supplier management is an integral part of governance, which is broadly aimed at ensuring the Group’s ethical conduct.
