Koningsdam was delivered at Fincantieri’s Marghera yard in April 2016, and like all Holland America Line ships, she flies the Dutch flag. She consolidates Fincantieri’s link with a prestigious brand founded back in 1873 that has always had one of the most active, high-end clienteles in the world.

The perfect blend of classic features and latest-generation technologies
Koningsdam has a modern, contemporary style in harmony with the classic elegance that distinguishes all the brand’s ships. She was designed by two of the world’s most important and prestigious architectural firms, Tihany Design and Yran & Storbraaten. They took their inspiration for the many public areas from music.
The World Stage theatre has a 20-m-diameter circular LED wall, the first ever on a ship, giving spectators a 270° total immersion in the performance.
The Lido Pool area spans two of the top decks and features a large, innovative sliding roof made of glass that allows guests to use the area in all weathers. The Greenhouse Spa, meanwhile, offers the very best in relaxation and wellness services, with thermal suites and steam baths with extensive sea views.
The ship has been designed for optimum energy efficiency and minimum environmental impact, and she meets the strictest current safety standards.
