SilentShip aims to improve cabin comfort and the vibro-acoustic footprint of vessels through the use of acoustic black holes. These devices, thanks to their specific geometry, are capable of dissipating vibrational energy triggered by main machinery and transmitted through the ship's structures. Once the methodologies for optimizing these devices are established, innovative, lightweight, and sustainable solutions will be developed and tested on board.
