The Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) Norwind Hurricane, designed and built for Norwind Offshore, has been custom-made for service, support, and maintenance of offshore wind farms worldwide.

Based on the versatile VARD 4 19 design from Ålesund, she ensures superior operability, safety, comfort, and efficient logistics for all phases of a wind farm.

The vessel, 85 meters long and 19.5 meters wide, is equipped with a 3D motion-compensated gangway and elevator, an adjustable boat landing system, and is prepared for battery solutions.

She accommodates 87 people, with the hull built in Romania and the final outfitting completed in Norway.

This is the second of five new CSOVs delivered by VARD to Norwind Offshore.
