THE VESSEL is a Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) with hybrid diesel-electric and battery propulsion, designed for flexible operation and low fuel consumption, with space for future zero-emission upgrades.

She is the first CSOV delivered with the integrated VARD SeaQ bridge system, which combines multiple systems into a single operator station with advanced decision-support capabilities.

As a world first, she is equipped with Kongsberg rim-driven azimuth thrusters featuring permanent magnet motors, offering compact, efficient, and cost-effective propulsion, as well as motion damping during Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations.

She also features RIM DRIVE tunnel thrusters for high efficiency and low noise.

The vessel is the first in the renewable energy sector to undergo Metizoft’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), enabling a comprehensive evaluation of environmental impacts throughout her entire life cycle.
