E-PHORS: OUR ANTENNA
E-phors, a Fincantieri Group company, is the center of excellence for cybersecurity applied to the naval and industrial domains. With advanced expertise in threat intelligence, penetration testing, and OT security, E-phors develops proprietary solutions to protect operational networks and embedded systems.
In 2024, E-phors strengthened its strategic role by participating in institutional forums with the National Cybersecurity Agency and promoting a security culture as a lever for reputation and reliability for businesses and institutions.
CYBERSECURITY BY DESIGN
We adopt a comprehensive engineering approach to cybersecurity, based on the principle of “cybersecurity by design.” Ships and infrastructures are designed to be resilient to attacks through the integration of machine learning algorithms tailored for the maritime environment, capable of detecting anomalies in data flows and automatically restoring optimal operating conditions.
The automated penetration testing program enables the assessment of systems’ ability to withstand advanced threats, providing precise recommendations for vulnerability mitigation. The Maritime Security Operation Center (Maritime SOC) ensures continuous 24/7 monitoring, with specialists capable of managing cyber incidents impacting onboard industrial systems.
