Code of Ethics

The Fincantieri Code of Ethics defines the values, principles, and rules of conduct that guide the Group’s activities in all the Countries in which it operates.

It represents the fundamental point of reference for ensuring responsible, transparent, and law‑abiding behaviour by all individuals who, in any capacity, work for or with the Group.

Our ValuesPeople, Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, and Innovation – represent the pillars of our identity, inspire the actions of all our personnel, and must serve as a reference for anyone interacting with Fincantieri.

Our Ethical Principles, outlined in the Code, guide our conduct by providing a common direction towards correct, transparent, and respectful behaviour in every activity. They orient both strategic decisions and daily actions, promoting a model of sustainable growth and long‑term value creation.

The 3 Pillars of our ethical conduct:

  • GOVERNANCE, INTEGRITY, AND TRANSPARENCY IN COMPANY MANAGEMENT: Every decision must be guided by integrity, responsibility, and compliance with regulations.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY: Every day we strive to contribute positively to the sustainable development of the communities in which we operate and to the protection of the planet for current and future generations.
  • VALORISATION, PROTECTION, AND RESPECT FOR PEOPLE: We ensure fair, safe, and respectful working conditions and oppose any form of abuse or exploitation.

Integrity is not a bureaucratic requirement but a value that strengthens the Group’s reputation and competitiveness. Fincantieri is committed to ensuring a proactive approach to compliance, based on prevention, widespread controls, and a shared ethical culture. The Code is delivered to employees and corporate bodies, referenced in contracts with third parties, made available to external stakeholders, and included in specific training and information programs.

Fincantieri encourages employees, partners, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders to promptly report behaviours, acts, or omissions that may constitute an actual or suspected violation of the Code of Ethics, applicable laws, or internal procedures, through dedicated, secure, and confidential channels (https://www.fincantieri.com/en/group/governance/whistleblowing).
