Born in the Veneto region, she graduated with top honors in International and Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste. In 2005, she earned a master’s degree in European Union Policies from the prestigious College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium).

 

She began her career at the European Commission, later joining the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in Brussels, an organization that brings together over 800 members from 81 countries and promotes dialogue between academia and business. At EFMD, she held the role of Manager for European Affairs.

 

In 2008, she joined the communication and public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, initially as a Senior Associate in the Rome office. Starting in 2010, she served as Senior Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the Brussels office. Following the merger of Burson-Marsteller and Cohn & Wolfe and the creation of BCW in 2018 – now one of the leading global consulting firms – she was promoted to Executive Vice President for Europe and Africa, with responsibilities for business development, institutional relations, and coordination of the regional network.

 

In 2021, after passing an international competition, she took on the role of Chief Political Officer at the United Nations World Food Programme. In this position, she led the definition and implementation of the global public affairs strategy, coordinating institutional relations and engagement with donor and host governments and parliaments. She also oversaw the G7 dossier and various strategic development initiatives, including the Mattei Plan, the Rome Process, and the Italian Government’s “Food for Gaza” initiative.

 

She has also conducted training activities on political communication, institutional strategies, and public speaking.

 

She was a founding steering committee member of RENA – Rete per l’Eccellenza Nazionale, active in the fields of democratic quality, local development, and innovation, and is currently a Senior Advisor at ThinkYoung, an international non-profit think tank that promotes the inclusion of young people's voices in decision-making processes.

 

She taught political communication for four years as a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe in Bruges.
