Working with clients across the globe

Fincantieri is a benchmark operator in ship repairs and conversions. One of our main strengths is our many years of experience in meeting clients' technical and business requirements quickly and effectively. And our organizational structure means we can provide our services anywhere they may be required in the world.

On top of all this, all the procedures we adopt are fully compliant with European and international standards as far as safety, quality and environmental protection are concerned.

The wide range of services on offer include repair, conversion and refurbishment of all kinds of ships, as well as the construction of steel structures for applications in the marine, offshore and onshore fields.

These services are carried out in our specialized facilities which are endowed with all the necessary equipment, complying with international registry legislation and requirements.

Cruise ships

We handle both standard repair projects and more complex projects such as the addition of new decks, lengthening, refurbishment and modernizing of public areas and cabins, the installation of scrubbers, and the replacement of principal machinery. The experience we have gained over the years and our network of specialized resources means we can offer ship owners a superlative service, not to mention adopting the very highest quality standards in our work to meet the agreed deadlines.

Offshore

In recent years we have consolidated our position in the offshore sector, successfully concluding numerous repair, maintenance and conversion projects on semi-submersible and fixed drilling rigs (jack up), drillships, FSO/FPSOs, pipe layers, crane vessels and heavy lift transport.

Our shipyards can design, build, transport and install heavy and complex steel sections and structures. We have gained a wealth of experience in creating new accommodation units, foundations for topside structures, helicopter platforms, pedestal cranes, double hulls, flare towers, drilling towers, and stingers. We collaborate on a regular basis with the main classification societies and we use welding methods approved by IACS for offshore work.

Yachts

Two dedicated yards: Muggiano and Arsenale Triestino San Marco in Trieste, which provide a full range of services.

We are always ready to meet the requirements of the most discerning clients with our first-rate services. We rely on a team of specialists and sub-contractors, coordinated by highly specialized managers who deal with relations between the owners, captains and crews, from the start of the project right through to its completion.
