Born in Cuneo in 1966, she graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin. She later earned a specialization Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.

 

She began her career at McKinsey & Co. in 1991, eventually becoming Associate Principal, leading strategic business and organizational projects for the top management of major multinational companies in the energy, manufacturing, air and land transport, public services, retail, and other sectors across Italy, the UK, France, Germany, and the USA.

 

From 2000 to 2001, she served as Chief Executive Officer at Gandalf – Even G7, an Italian company operating in the private airline sector.

 

From 2001 to 2002, she was Program Management Director for the launch of the new mobile operator 3Italia S.p.A., where she later served as Executive Director from 2005 to 2016.

 

From 2003 to 2004, she was Marketing Director at H3G S.p.A., later becoming Executive Director (2004–2016) and General Manager (2004–2016). From 2007 to 2016, she was also CEO of 3Lettronica Industriale S.p.A., a subsidiary of H3G S.p.A.

 

From 2016 to 2017, she was Executive Director and Merger Integration Officer at Wind Tre S.p.A., a leading mobile telecommunications company formed from the merger of Wind Telecomunicazioni S.p.A. and H3G S.p.A.

 

She has also held positions on the boards of other Italian companies. In particular, from 2014 to 2023, she was an Independent Director at A2A S.p.A., representing Assogestioni, serving as Chair of the Control and Risk Committee, Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, and Lead Independent Director. From 2018 to 2021, she was an Independent Director at the OTB – Only The Brave Group, and from 2018 to 2025, she served as an Independent Director at INWIT (Infrastructure for Electronic Communications, Telecom Italia/Vodafone Tower/Market), representing Assogestioni, with roles in the Control and Risk Committee, as Chair of the Related Party Transactions Committee, and as Lead Independent Director.

 

From 2020 to 2023, she was President of the Public Services Institution Istituti Milanesi Martinitt, Stelline e Pio Albergo Trivulzio, appointed by Mayor Sala and President Fontana to stabilize the institution after the devastating initial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Since 2018, she has been Non-Executive Chair and Founder of Destination Italia S.p.A., the largest Italian TravelTech company in inbound tourism, listed on Euronext Growth Milan and backed by the Intesa Group and LastMinute.com. She is also an Independent Director at Reply S.p.A., representing Assogestioni, with roles over various terms in the Control and Risk Committee, the Remuneration and Nomination Committee, the Related Party Transactions Committee, and the ESG Committee.

 

Since 2025, she has been an Independent Director at Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A., serving as a member of the Control, Risk and Related Parties Committee and Chair of the ESG Committee.

 

Among other roles in companies, associations, institutions, and organizations, she served from 2010 to 2015 as a Member of the General Committee and from 2015 to 2017 as President (to date, the first and only woman to hold this role) of Assotelecomunicazioni – ASSTEL (the Italian Telecommunications Association representing Confindustria). She was also a member of the General Committee of Confindustria Digitale from 2014 to 2017.

 

She has received several awards and recognitions for her professional achievements.
