In relation to recent news published by certain newspapers, the Company, as requested by Consob, informs that, as part of its growth strategy, it is interested in evaluating various strategic opportunities, with the primary objective of ensuring Fincantieri’s technological development in line with the direction provided by the new business plan and in order to create value for all its stakeholders. With reference to growth through external means, the Company will evaluate all of the most effective financial solutions also based on the type and size of the potential opportunity.   

Possible decisions that could be taken on these matters will be communicated in compliance with current regulations.
