Trieste, 14 November 2022 – Fincantieri has appointed Lorenza Pigozzi as the Group’s Communication Director. Lorenza Pigozzi will report to the CEO, Pierroberto Folgiero, and she will be responsible for coordinating “Brand Communication & Group Identity", "Media Relations” and activities to support the goals of the Sustainability Plan.

Lorenza Pigozzi has long-standing experience in communication and institutional relations in the financial sector. After working for Lazard and Banca IMI, in 2001 she joined Mediobanca where she held different positions before becoming the Group’s Communication and Institutional Relations Director. While she was with Mediobanca, she was Director of CheBanca!, MIS and R&S. Lorenza Pigozzi is a member of the Board of Directors of UPA and Auditel. She is Adjunct Professor of the “Executive Corporate Communications” Master’s Degree Course at the Luiss Business School.

Pierroberto Folgiero, Fincantieri CEO, stated: “Adding Lorenza to the Fincantieri management team will help to support the Group’s business goals through the integrated management of multichannel communication strategies.
